Ciclon vessel

The name of this container, which is more of a sculpture, basically says it all. The design is inspired by the impressive sculptures of Toni Cragg and gives form to the powerful vortices of a cyclone. The mould is modelled in wax, then poured in a sand-casting process. The surface is refined in several handcrafting steps and finished with shiny nickel plating. As water can corrode the metal over time, a glass or plastic insert should always be used. The surface can be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth, but abrasive objects will scratch the fine surface.
