With this chair, Interstuhl has developed a versatile solution for seating areas, seminar and conference scenarios, canteens and cafeterias, as well as training rooms. It is extremely flexible when it comes to design, frame and colour and, thanks to these characteristics, is suitable for almost all applications, without it having to lose any of its intrinsic character.

Germany
Martin Ballendat has enjoyed international success as a designer for decades. Born in Bochum, Germany, in 1958, he completed his studies in design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. With his studio, Design Ballendat, he works for numerous prestigious brands. After three years of employment with office furniture manufacturer Sedus, he took over as head of design and product development at Wiesner Hager in Austria. He opened his own studio in Upper Austria in 1995, which was soon to be followed by a second one in Germany. Martin Ballendat has been awarded over 100 design prizes and awards. He has been working as a lecturer and guest professor at design schools for more than 15 years.
