Introducing the PC Portable Lamp, one of a range of new light fixtures based on Pierre Chapin’s original PC Task Light, a HAY classic. Like its predecessor, the PC Portable hides its engineering inside a sleek base and is topped with the line’s signature tulip-shaped shade. Portable, compact, splash-proof and providing up to ten hours of illumination via a rechargeable battery, this little light is perfect for indoor as well as outdoor use. Pop it on café tables for a warm glow during summer dinners, bring it with you on family camping trips, or place it in a dark living room corner for the soft effect of candlelight. Common to all designs is the designer’s intention to keep the object as visually simple as possible, making sure technical components are kept out of view.
