This bracket shaped, Ascent configuration offers 20 seats and measures 4135 mm across. The Rise modules on both ends give smooth edges towards the room and other configurations.
The double-sided version of Ascent provides a high degree of comfort, flexibility and configurability. You can create flowing shapes with its modular structure. Ascent offers an alternative to long rows of lateral seating and provides more seats per square meter in the same space.
Concetto
As its name suggests, Ascent is a seating system that elevates public space furniture to new heights. The series is a flexible, modular system that can change and adapt as its surroundings evolve. Designed with placemaking in mind, Ascent’s soft contours, smooth textures, and sustainable wood, make public space interiors warmer and more welcoming. Ascent is available in different versions, as: Bench, Single Back, Double Back and the Rise module with a sloping profile. All versions have add-ons such as armrests, tables and chargers. Ascent can be configured to meet accessibility needs.
Ascent received the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2021.
How is Ascent sustainable? All wood used is 100% certified and sourced from responsible forestry. Steel parts are made of 70-95% recycled steel, aluminum parts are made of 75% recycled aluminum. The wood is treated with a hard wax oil with 0% VOC, making it easy to maintain. Ascent is produced in Sweden and each part can be replaced individually for a longer life cycle.
