The floor lamp COLUMN fits almost anywhere in terms of comfort. The connection between the matt black cross base and the light-grey shade is timeless. The base is stable, but also provides a sense of lightness. The COLUMN is available in two sizes with a height of 120 and 145 cm.

Concetto
The cylinder as an archetypical shape is the model and gives the series its name. Used as floor, wall, table or pedant lamp, cyls convinces with interaction, large range of colours and excellent craftsmanship. With up to 116 cm in diameter, pendant lamps impress with their size. In addition, filumen offers our customers individually tailored sizes.

After studying ceramic art for several years - including a lengthy spell in Japan - Finke studied beaux arts at the UdK Berlin focusing on the interface between the applied and fine arts. Since 1999 Christian Finke's work has concentrated on interior lighting. His approach is that of a sculptor cum architect working within carefully restrained boundaries. There is always a keen interest in the intrinsic character of the materials used and the play of contrasts which they produce. Christian Finke works in Berlin since 1995.
