The Butler series secretary is a well-known furniture classic that has received a stylish update. Behind the door, you’ll find plenty of room for storing books, pens, writing pads, whatever you choose. The small drawer can serve as a letter tray, and when the door is folded down, you can use it as a desk. The secretary has a simple, rigorous design that does not dominate the room; it almost appears to be floating.

Designed According to FDB Møbler Principles

Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen have worked as studio partners since the late 1970s, earning them the status of “grand old men” of Danish furniture design. The Butler storage series joins their well-known Mikado and other lines in the FDB Møbler catalog. The Butler series reflects the same guiding principles as all our furniture, focusing on simple design and functionality at a reasonable price.

Materials and Production

The Butler dresser/secretary is made of oak, FSC certified from European forests. The drawer fronts are lacquered in gray, beautifully harmonizing with the light-colored wood.
