U-Shape

The U-SHAPE design couples the poise and versatility of cast stone with the nobility of wood. This bench consists of a U-shaped cast stone base and a seat with comfortably aligned wooden slats that seem to be suspended. In the evening, this bench changes its mood when lit up. It can include two optional sockets to install recessed lamps that bathe the curved base in light, reflecting the line in the nearby pavements. Designed by Arkitema, a Danish architectural workshop, it is totally stable and requires no fixtures for installation on pavements, lawns or sandy beaches. It includes two possible combinations: a black cast stone base, with extremely pure lines, in combination with an Iroko wood seat, or a beige cast stone base in combination with a light coloured seat in natural firwood.
