Concetto
Frans Schrofer designed with Manta a sofa which consists of one soft and long seat and back cushion, resting on a straight-lined upholsterd frame. This frame is underneath bordered by specially designed and laid-in wooden feet – slightly conical en with rounded edges at the outside andsharp edfges at the innerside.
All of this results in an elegant interplay of lines. The name of the sofa obviously refers to its shape which closely resembles that of the manta ray. Thanks to its striking cushions, which have been finished with a broad, flat seam, just like pillowcases, this comfortable sofa is a veritable invitation to sit down. Manta collection also has a matching coffee table.
