ROII Armchair

ROII by Benjamin Baum is a contemporary expression of pure DEDON DNA. This fully woven collection encompasses side chairs, armchairs and a comfortable lounge chair, combined in two distinct weaving styles and an eye-catching mix of colors, textures and patterns. Compact yet comfortable, ROII is equally at home atop a beach dune, on an ur-ban balcony, or poolside amidst a full array of DEDON furniture. Lightweight, stackable and easy to move around, ROII is there when you need, bringing people together for con-versations all day long and deep into the night. Taking DEDON’s hand-weaving heritage as his starting point, designer Benjamin Baum envisioned a collection that was rooted in the company’s artisanal tradition but that expressed it in a new and subtle way. The result, in Baum’s own words, is ‘a timeless design with a playful color scheme that reflects the craftsmanship of the weavers, and thus the DNA of DEDON.’ The ROII collection comprises armchair, side chair and lounge chair. The frame of each element is light enough to be moved wherever needed and features an intricate herringbone weave in DEDON Fiber 'touch'. ROII takes full advantage of the fiber’s matte surface and haptic qualities for a supple, inviting finish reminiscent of braided leather. An open triaxial weave of classic DEDON Fiber covers the entire seat and backrest, creating a striking contrast with the herringbone weave while offering ex-ceptional durability and comfort. ROII is available in tobacco, a distinctive combina- tion of warm and natural hues.
