Aureole Brass
Architonic ID: 20024323
Anno di Lancio: 2019
Aureole is a universal lamp which combines a ceiling floodlight and a reading lamp to an entirely new typology. By moving the shade vertically along the wire, the light atmosphere can be varied dramatically, reflecting entirely to the ceiling or to the floor. Assembly of the lamp is easy- it is fixed to the ceiling with one single screw and kept in tension by a weight at the bottom end of the wire.
All shades are made of uncoated brass or aluminium to reveal the natural qualities of the material and will age over time.
LxWxH of the shade: 23 x 23 x 25cm (9 x 9 x 10 in.)
The shade floats around 140cm (1,53yd.) above the floor (this value is fixed).
Light source: 12W LED, 1560lm
Concetto
Aureole is a highly unique suspended lamp which combines a ceiling floodlight and a reading lamp to an entirely new typology. The shape of the shade has been designed specifically for the directional light of LEDs. By moving the shade vertically along the suspension wire, the light atmosphere in a room can be altered dramatically. Not only can it be directed completely to the ceiling or the floor, all intermediate steps can also be displayed.
