Concetto
Tria è una sedia che richiama le forme impossibili di Escher, definendosi in un gioco di curve e di fughe inafferrabili. La scocca a forma di corolla, composta da tre elementi uguali assemblati tra loro, si presta ad accogliere finiture tinta unita, fantasie o una sequenza di colori che si rincorrono. Può essere usata in 2 diverse posizioni di seduta, centrale o laterale (dx o sx). La scocca, in multistrato curvato, è disponibile in rovere naturale, rovere tinto nero, oppure impiallacciata, nelle varianti a strisce nero/avorio, in frassino pre tinto rosso o tricromia azzurro denim. Prevede la possibilità di personalizzare tinte (min. 4 pz.) e impiallacciature (min. 20 pz.). Le gambe sono in legno massello di rovere. ballo 2 pezzi.
Tria Lounge poltrona girevole
Lorenz Kaz, con il loro progetto iconico Tria chair, sono un esempio di qualità di progetto unita alla forma insolita e seduttiva. In questo specifico caso Tria chair si sdoppia diventando lounge chair. Il suo corpo a simmetria raggiata racchiude due cavità, archetipo di due grossi occhi. La scocca è in multistrato di faggio curvato, imbottita in schiuma poliuretanica e rivestita in tessuto o cuoio. Le quattro gambe a razze sono in acciaio curvato e laccate con vernice opaca. La struttura è girevole.

From 1986-91 she studied Industrial Design at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt, where she graduated in January 1991 with a Diploma in Industrial Design. In the same year she started to work for Hollington Associates in London. In 1993, back again in Germany she works for Tinz.DCC and Via 4 Design. In 1995 she starts working with Sottsass Associati in Milan, where she stays until autum 1999. Since then, she works in her own studio in Milan for clients like Antonio Lupi and Zeitraum, Since 2002 she is a consultant for DuPont Surfaces, U.S.A. She is also realizing several Interior projects. Apart from working for other clients, they launched their own furniture line, which they produce and sell under the label Lorenz * Kaz.

From 1990-1994 he studied Industrial Design at the Accademy of Art in Hamburg, continued at the Royal College of Art in London, where he completed his studies in August 1996 with a Master Degree in Furniture. Few months later he moves to New york, working for a Media Company and various other Design Studios. Back in Europe in 1998, he starts working for James Irvine in Milan, where he stays until autumn 2001. Since then, he works in his own studio in Milan. He is collaborating in many projects with Catharina Lorenz, working for clients like FontanaArte, Bedont, Present Perfekt, Zoltan Gruppo DePadova and Segno. Apart from working for other clients, they launched their own furniture line, which they produce and sell under the label Lorenz * Kaz. Since Spring 2003 he is Professor at the University of Bolzano, teaching at the Faculty of Art and Design.
