Concetto
In molti paesi del mondo, il concierge dell'hotel è lo spirito buono della reception, che si occupa dei desideri e delle esigenze degli ospiti in arrivo e in partenza. Da questa idea è nato lo specchio a tutto corpo "Concierge Mirror", progettato da Andreas Kowalewski. Il grande specchio da parete si caratterizza per la sua estetica chiara e ridotta ed è un oggetto pratico e versatile per il corridoio, un misto di armadio, mensola e specchio. Il ripiano in rovere massiccio offre spazio per chiavi, portafogli o cellulare. Ombrelli e sciarpe, ad esempio, possono essere appesi alla sottile e minimalista struttura metallica.

The Berlin-born designer Andreas Kowalewski was initially trained as a carpenter before he began studying industrial design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Prior to founding his own design studio, Kowalewski worked as a design director in the consumer electronics field and was based in the Netherlands and China. The studio was founded in 2016 as an interdisciplinary design studio based in Amsterdam and relocated to Hamburg (Germany) in 2017. Kowalewski’s work encompasses a wide range of creative services in furniture, lighting, consumer electronics and strategic design consulting. From the beginning, the studio has collaborated with several internationally renowned brands and won many international design awards. His work focuses on creating contemporary and meaningful solutions for everyday life, reducing complexity in form and function and transforming it into objects with personality and sustainable use of materials.
