Concetto
Together, mutually, in common. The words that define the prefix ‘co’ are at the heart of our Co Collection. Conceived in collaboration with Norm Architects and Els Van Hoorebeeck from The Office Group, the multifunctional chairs adapt to a wide range of needs and interior styles. They address the spatial and design challenges common to both private and public environments, making them as appealing in homes as in shared areas such as conference halls, boardrooms and co-working spaces.
Drawing on The Office Group’s extensive knowledge of workplace needs, our Co Collection pairs a lightweight, sleek profile with great seating comfort – and the option to stack up to ten chairs in a compact tower. Visually, the contoured form and warm materials of the design bring Norm Architects’ signature, human-centric minimalism to residential and hospitality applications. The versatility of the design is the result of a thoughtful construction and a wide array of materials. With two base options, three veneer finishes and numerous upholstery options to choose from, the collection is easy to customise to the desired expression and experience.
The Co Chair is distinguished by its wide veneer back, the proportions of which allow freedom of movement and provide maximum comfort. Comfort also informed the design of the backrest, which is positioned and angled for exceptional support. The Co Chair’s slender, yet robust steel base defines the intriguing geometric silhouette – and delivers high durability. The base comes in black powder coated steel or polished chrome. Optional veneer armrests lend additional dimension, serving both as extra comfort and to suspend the chair off the floor for easy cleaning. Combining steel, woodworking and upholstering skills and unexpected comfort to create an iconic chair that fits seamlessly into any setting, the collection proves that comfort does not have to come at the cost of beauty.
Now offered in a fully upholstered version, the Co Chair is even easier to customise to your desired expression.Perfectly proportioned for freedom of movement and sitting comfort, the wide back and generous seat are lightly padded and covered in one of a range of beautiful fabrics from our collection. The same lightweight, sleek frame remains; available in black powder coated steel or chrome and with or without armrests.
With its simple and elegant design, the rectangular Co Table seamlessly complements the Co-Chair collection, creating a cohesive look in professional settings. Offering long-lasting performance, style and functionality in two sizes and material colour options that accommodate different spatial requirements, tastes and purposes in a range of modern workspaces, its distinctive design details include decorative screws on the desk apron, solid oak trim and chromed legs.

Denmark
Norm Architects was founded in 2008. Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, Norm works with residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography, graphics and art direction. The name Norm indicates the importance of drawing inspiration from traditions and norms that have been refined for many centuries within the field of architecture and aesthetics. Norm makes it a virtue to focus on quality, durability and timelessness. They want their designs to not only be of good materials and good craftsmanship, but to embody beauty, history and, most importantly, outlive fleeting trends. The design process of Norm Architects is based on not just asking the question “how?” but to ask the question “why?”. Why should we create this? Why does the need for this product exist? Why should people buy it? Why should they want to keep it? When you ask the question “why?” you open up for deeper design dimensions and you embark on the road to create truly durable products. In spirit with the tradition for scandinavian simplicity Norm strives to cut to the bone in their designs. To find the simplest shape for a given task without forgetting the beauty of the shape and the details, in order to reach a point where there is nothing to add and nothing to take away that can make the product better. Like true scandinavians they pride themselves in their culture and history, and hope and aspire to create new norms for nordic design.
