Jonathan Prestwich conceived the Cable Sock- a low-tech solution for high-tech equipment- to make the table just as flexible as our life styles with laptops, iPads and the New Works. The 3D-knitted Cable Sock is an attractive solution for the proliferation of cables around your table: the narrow sock keeps them together and tidily guides them along the table leg to the floor and plug socket. Just like real socks they are also available in all sorts of colours, patterns and sizes: small, medium and large, fitting around different kinds of table legs. The Cable Sock can be combined with a Cable Net that keeps adapters, sockets and the many cables together under the table top. A nice start to a totally new line of accessories?

Jonathan Prestwich

In 1995, after completing his industrial design studies, Jonathan Prestwich moved to Boston. Since 2004, the Brit has run his own studio in London. In the first few years after graduating, he spent six years working with the well-known furniture designer Burkhard Vogtherr in France. As a result of his many years of experience and his cooperation with various designers, Prestwich has an extensive knowledge of how good products are made. Office furniture and lighting design are a particular focus. He especially enjoys designing products for the generations to come, and combines inspiration from nature with ultra-modern technology to create simple, elegant and innovative products.
