Concetto
An essential, warm and contemporary design, Rizo is the first collaboration between Andreu World and the Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni. Through a wood frame without a sharp edge in which the upholstery is integrated in a natural and harmonic way, Rizo demonstrates how the wood and the upholstery can define the identity of a piece. The mastery in woodworking is shown in all the joints perfectly resolved joints of all its wooden pieces hat are integrated with the upholstered surfaces to provide an optimal ergonomics.

Architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture. Responsible in the past for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1998 until today) and Roda, he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Molteni & C., Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Roda, RB Rossana, Sambonet, Serralunga, The Rug Company, Venini. Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, developing projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
