Jenny Fusca è un'artista floreale contemporanea che esplora un mondo botanico gioioso con le sue opere che rappresentano la natura “fuori scala”. Il suo lavoro celebra le forme e i colori che si trovano in natura. Nel suo lavoro unisce la sua attenzione per i dettagli e l'amore per il giardinaggio. I suoi soggetti infatti sono piante che lei stessa coltiva. Progetta ogni composizione per rivelare i dettagli intimi della fioritura: nello stesso modo in cui un ritrattista tenta di rivelare il carattere di una persona. Il suo processo prevede l'applicazione di più strati di colore e smalti per ottenere una finitura che sia vibrante e intensa. “Ho sempre avuto una risposta emotiva ai fiori - mi incantano e mi sorprendono costantemente. Ogni dipinto per me è una nuova sfida proprio perché voglio trasmettere questa emozione nei miei quadri. Quando qualcuno vede per la prima volta il mio lavoro e vedo che fa un profondo respiro, so che ho raggiunto l’obiettivo perché stanno reagendo come avrei voluto” “Il mio lavoro cerca di ricreare spazi di mondi naturali nelle nostre. Invito sempre a prendersi un momento per guardare in profondità, respirare e notare i piccoli e meravigliosi dettagli della natura. Il semplice atto di apprezzare quanto vediamo e abbiamo può essere già una trasformazione” Jenny dipinge a tempo pieno dal suo studio a Sydney, in Australia.
