Our collections of fabrics and wallpapers are produced with meticulous care. Great expertise, committed employees and full control over the entire manufacturing process guarantees that our high standards of design and quality are met.

In our design studio, our designers create tomorrow’s classics by combining innovative colour and style with classical styles. The textiles and wallpapers are then made in our factory, using traditional techniques. Examples are that we paint all our wallpaper edges by hand, and that not a single roll leaves the factory without our careful scrutiny!

The close collaboration between the Sandberg designers, production technicians and ink specialist provides unique conditions for creating timeless products of the highest quality.

All wallpapers are manufactured in our own factory while textiles are produced in cooperation with local suppliers.

We use the following techniques in our production.

Screen-printed wallpapers

This is a technique that produces sharply defined print and is suitable for detailed patterns with fine linework. The pattern is presented on a smooth and even surface. All the wallpapers we have produced up to now in our Ulricehamn factory have been printed using this technique.

Surface-printed wallpapers

This is the traditional old-fashioned way of printing wallpapers where the ink quality is of vital importance. The ink has a life of its own, creating naturally varied patterns and a three-dimensional impression. Sandberg is planning to manufacture and launch its first collection of surface-printed wallpapers in the autumn of 2006.
