The Swiss designer duo Lukas Wick and Roger Rimmele work together on the label Limited.ch. and both have a passion for books. As one collects many books, if not very many, over the years, they looked for a solution. Not in fact a storage solution for this treasured collection, but a way to save single books from disappearing into the pile.

They were looking for a shelf, in which a single book comes to the fore and shows its presence in the room. The result was the “Spine”, a novel product, both in the way you can use it every day and how it supports the books.

Some time later, they developed a narrower version of the “Spine” to accommodate magazines, comics and CDs. Both “Spines” are available in two sizes and three colours (white, black and beige).
