Iulite – a new name in high-class design lighting.

On the Light and building 2012 iulite showcases itself for the first time with 4 newly developed products.The luminaires of the german designer Hans Nopper are inspired of space-technology and bionic. All luminaires are ultralight and compact collapsible.

They all have in common the theme bidirectional steel: unfolded they feature high stability, rolled in they are ultracompact. The mechanisms and systems which resulted from this development are consistently patented and worldwide unique in lighting business.

Hans Noppers distinctive passion for high-tech and new materials displays in the scope of his work: Ranging from autonomous robots to numerous products in consumer electronics, like smart phones or GPS-watches up to interactive lighting built from shape-memory alloy. Last mentioned, the “Nopperection” made already 1996 into the collection of Ingo Maurer.

Now german born designer Hans Nopper comes back in lighting design with new creations for iulilte.
