In spring 2011, Annette Douglas launched the "Silent Space Collection" a worldwide novelty. The first transparent acoustic textile collection Annette Douglas Textiles ACOUSTICS® that has emerged from a KTI research project in close cooperation with the EMPA. With the launch in summer 2014 of "Silent Space Collection- extended" the collection reached a further and global innovation. The transparent acoustic textiles achieve a sound absorption coefficient alpha w 0.8, they absorb up to 80% of the sound energy.
