Bsweden is a design company situated in the south of Sweden. We manufacture lamps in a modern Nordic style, suitable for both domestic and contract markets. Our designs can be recognised by their strict and elegant details and functional qualities. They have been exhibited all around the world and have won multiple top design awards.

The company was founded in 1993 by Gunnel Svensson. She comes from an entrepreneurial region in Sweden called "The Kingdom of Furniture". She has, as she herself puts it, grown up in among upholstery and carpenters. After working in Sweden and abroad with exhibitions, furniture and interior designs, Gunnel felt that a modern, Nordic alternative to lights was missing and the idea of starting Bsweden was born.

Glass has always been an important material for us. Being located close to the Swedish ”Kingdom of Crystal” has resulted in many products where hand-made glass is the primary material. The last couple of years, other materials have found their way into the collection. We manufacture the lights at our Swedish factory.

Our designs can for example be found at the airports of Oslo and Stockholm, the College of Sports in Copenhagen, the State Library in Helsinki, the Great Eastern Hotel and Harrods in London, the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin, SAS Radisson hotels in Copenhagen and Reykjavik and the Swedish Government Offices.
