New Santos products in kitchen and Living furniture
Santos has expanded its brochure featuring products to fit out the kitchen and daytime living area with new fronts, modular compositions, lighting systems and finishes. The two projects featured in this article show how these new products – aside from offering more customization options – help to create more harmonious and cohesive interiors.

The kitchen, the diner and a contiguous lounge share the free-flowing daytime living area of this flat, which is accessed through two doors in the entrance hall. The latter has been fitted out with a FINE model sideboard with a metal structure lacquered in black, plain fronts in Horizontal Rustic Oak wood, sides in Vertical Rustic Oak wood and two drawer units with an assisted-opening system.

The kitchen has been fitted out with a Sand Grey Silk Matt CUADRO model, a classic and timeless design with fronts framed by a profile and solid wood round knobs. The furniture, laid out in parallel, faces an island with worktop in Imperial Quartzite laminate and a run of tall units, base units and glass door units.

The middle of the run holds a composition of glass door units with black aluminium frame, smoked glass fronts and shelves, and interiors finished in Synchro Light Oak wood. The glass door units feature a side lighting system that runs vertically along the sides of the units, projecting indirect light consistently and evenly towards the back.

In the diner, located right in the middle of the daytime living area, there’s a Vertical Rustic Oak CUADRO NATURA model unit. The composition – which sits on a metal structure lacquered in black – has natural veneered wood fronts framed by a solid wood moulding. Its interiors include shelves for storing tableware and a wine glass rack. The structural and stylistic link between this cabinet and the sideboard in the entrance hall, which are both from the Santos Living line, reinforces the sense of continuity between the spaces.
Wooden kitchen integrated into the daytime living area
The daytime living area of this home is a bright, open-plan room shared by the kitchen, the diner and the lounge. The kitchen, laid out in parallel, has been fitted with a Vertical Rustic Oak FINE design with sleek lines and plain fronts.

A run holds the preparation, cooking and washing-up areas, with worktop and wall panel in Cream Quartzite laminate. The lower area includes plinth drawer units, an exclusive Santos product that makes it possible to make the most of all the height and depth available under the worktop.

For the wall cabinets, Vertical Rustic Oak CUADRO NATURA glass door units were chosen, with thin ribbed glass fronts framed by a solid wood moulding. These units with side opening door integrate two lighting systems: shelf lighting, which projects indirect lighting onto the back of the unit, and under shelf lighting, which is intended to light the work surface.

A lighting profile with switches, plug sockets, USB connectors and slit for kitchen accessories has been installed under the glass door units. In order to make the kitchen look even more cohesive, the front and sides of this element have been customised in the same finish as the worktop, wall panel and Gola profile.

The kitchen furniture has been rounded off with a composition of tall units finished in Beige, which integrates appliances and storage options within a compact and organised space.

The lounge/diner has been fitted out with a wall-mounted bookcase and a glass door unit, two modular systems belonging to the Santos Living line. The bookcase is an extremely practical option for organising books, magazines, decorative items and lounge accessories. Meanwhile, the glass door unit with black aluminium frame, concealed hinges, smoked glass fronts and shelf lighting is perfect for storing tableware and delicate items.
