Chairs, stools, armchairs, sofas, coffee tables, extending and fixed tables, loungers, cushions… Musola products are made in a region where people live in an environment of sun, wind and salt. Put another way, they fully respect the technical requirements of the outdoor contract market.
Though Musola was only founded in 2018, the company can rely on all expertise of its parent company, Mobililiario Auxiliar de Diseño (which also owns the brands Mobliberica and Dressy). The corporation is constantly researching new ways of making its products more sustainable, more durable and lighter. Starting in the late seventies, the company became specialised in welding techniques, working with both 6063 aluminium and 304 stainless steel – two metals especially appropriate for building long-lasting outdoor furniture. And obviously, all paints used by Musola have been tested to resist adverse weather conditions.
In addition, the company can lean on the region’s very innovative ceramic industry. The tabletops can be selected from among 30 different finishes, each resistant not only to sun, wind and rain, but also household chemical products, scratching and abrasion – and In these times of pandemic, the close-to-perfect hygienic quality of this material is sure to be appreciated.
When it comes to fabrics, Musola works with Sunbrella, an international leader in outdoor textiles. The large choice of finishes and colours enables Musola to tailor specific pieces for any special project. Despite this outstanding versatility, products can be manufactured within three weeks, on average. ‘Nowadays, Musola has a very unique position in the outdoor furniture market’, designer Santiago Sevillano emphasises. ‘It’s a new reference standard achieved by mixing technology, design and manufacturing quality.’
