Decom Office

The client, Decom technology people from Venray in the Netherlands, contacted Nu interieur|ontwerp at the end of 2013. The building, an old bank building, stood empty and was dated in materials and layout. This project started by making the industrial elements more visible.
Nu interieur|ontwerp made layout plans with comfortable workspaces for all the departments, ample room for consultation and the directors have nice spacious boardrooms at their disposal. Central in the design is the meeting ‘house’. After approval of the layout Nu interieur|ontwerp created the interior design plan for the entire property. Daan van Mosseveld, managing director and owner, is a fancier of vintage design had already purchased a number of vintage Eames chairs. Nu interieur|ontwerp chose a cozy atmosphere that emphasizes the hospitality of the company and its employees. The office canteen resembles a cozy coffee shop. A combination of again vintage Eames and Rex Kralj chairs with a variety of colors and materials that form a beautiful whole.
