Luxury Wellness Center

The Studio Matteo Nunziati realized and coordinated, in all its phases, the project GET FIT CITY CLUB, a wellness centre in Milan, in Via Falcone, a few steps from the square of the Dome.

The main inspiration comes from the asymmetric, monumental simplicity of the roman Lombard, besides the artificial channels, the navigli, that characterize the route of the city.

The space was conceptualised like as an internal courtyard of an abbey, where one could take rest and recover, finding comfort and protection from the whirling rhythms of the contemporary metropolis. For this reason, natural materials like stone, ceramics, wood and leather were used, composed with paths of water and light which has been studied particularly.

The complete space of 1.700 mq., is developed on two floors and it has been extracted restructuring an old building of the area.

Large basins in dark aluminium, characterize the lobby, covered in exclusive ceramic materials with a rough lava effect provided by Floor Gres, with a refined finish produced by Alulife. Seeming suspended by the light they accompany the visitor along the large central corridor of the ground floor.

The lounge, deliberately designed as a sophisticated domestic living room, is furnished with comfortable sofas covered in leather, by `Poliform`, large suspended lights, by `Fontana Arte`, refined textiles lit from above, `Brand Contract Textile` and LCD screens hidden behind elegant fume’ lacquered glass panels.
The bar, serving biological food, placed opposite from the lounge area, is realised in rosewood.

The workout rooms, both single and common, are characterized by backlit mirrors more than three meters high, making them full-height. Reflection game created by these mirrors widens the perception of the space.
Technogym machines equip the rooms.

The staircase is characterized by vertical cuts of light silhouetted on the wall.

“Lumiere” rosewood doors with backlit profiles designed by the Studio Matteo Nunziati and produced by Lualdi Porte, distinguish the corridor leading to the dressing room. The “Lumiere” and plaster with sandblasted effect by Create raise a very strong emotional effect.

Most of the dressing rooms are single. Each dressing room has a wardrobe in wengé wood, shower, toilet, a washbasin Nami, produced by Rapsel and designed by the Studio Matteo Nunziati, and LCD monitors.

At the lower floor you find the SPA.

The SPA has been divided in small spaces, each of them analysed and planned to the smallest detail.

The Sauna is characterized by ceiling illuminated by Swarovski crystals and by red-hot lava stone niche, where water falls to generate the vapour.

The Thalasso therapy has comfortable backlit mosaic benches.

In the Turkish bath created in stone has a small reaction bath, also completely covered in lava stone.

The Whirlpool is entirely in stone and has comfortable reserved places where one can relax.

The Massage rooms, also covered in stone, marked by a band in teak wood that follows continuously from floor to ceiling. There is the possibility to create different scenarios of light, to modify the perception of the space in relation to the treatments carried out.

A high border in thick tempered glass characterizes the Pool creating an effect of a relaxing aquarium where one can immerse in golden waters.
