Piney Point Residence

This clean­lined, cedar­clad modern abode in Houston’s beautiful Piney Point Village neighborhood plays off the floor­to­ceiling view of a lush, palm­forested pool. With all the natural elements right outside, we wanted to keep a natural feeling in the interior. Carpeting was swapped for solid walnut hardwoods, drama was added to the master bedroom fireplace with Keegan green ledgestone and the room was swathed in grays and taupes. This space features the low­profile bed by Giuseppe Vigano for the Domus Design Collection and the Moooi fixture from Houston’s LIGHT showroom. The result is a simple, elegant space for the sweetest of dreams.
