Concept
Le projet Dr. Bamboozle s’interroge sur la pertinence de l’usage et les techniques du bambou dans un contexte occidental ainsi que sur les possibilités de son association avec un nouveau matériau. Les qualités du bambou sont célébrées et insufflées d’une nouvelle matière. L’aspect ethnique et les techniques orientales sont mis de côté pour faire place a un procédé industriel «moins importé». Des longueurs de bambous sont sanglées ensemble pour former des assises, banc et tabourets. Cet ensemble est ensuite partiellement trempé dans du caoutchouc liquide qui en séchant assure la cohésion de chaque objet produit.
