Pulls

STACKLAB custom cabinetry pulls are made by pouring molten iron into an open face sand mould, then letting the iron cool naturally in the open air. This process gives the pull its distinctive mottled, moonscape-like patina. The iron settles slightly differently with each casting, giving each piece a unique fingerprint. The pull’s flaring maximizes the flat top surface to show off the unusual texture to best advantage.

Pulls exemplifies STACKLAB’s continuing interest in creating objects with a didactic mission: objects whose appearance tells the viewer something about how they were made.
