If, with Santavase (the screw-in pot), the ground can be sloped and the pot stays straight, with Pisa, if the ground is straight the pot can only be sloped. In contrast to the plant- growing vertically- the container affirms its formal identity through the line of the edge that is not parallel with the ground. The rest is barely designed, except for the line that single-handedly identifies the object.
