C’est avec le concept de meuble polyvalent « Roman » que Luca Beel et Adriaan Tas ont remporté en 2017 le concours de design pour jeunes talents organisé, en collaboration avec Serax, par Knack Weekend.
Adriaan : « Les arcs permettent non seulement d’ajouter de la fonctionnalité à un objet, mais aussi de créer une forme de décoration ultra minimaliste qui confère une identité propre à un volume important. »
Réalisé en béton léger, Roman peut servir aussi bien de tabouret et de banc que de table d’appoint.
En superposant plusieurs modules, il est également possible de créer sa propre bibliothèque unique. 32x24, h40
Concept
With their multifunctional furniture design ‘Roman, Luca Beel and Adriaan Tas won the 2017 design competition for young talent organised by Knack Weekend magazine and Serax.
Adriaan: With arches, you can not only add functionality to an object, they also offer an extremely minimalistic form of decoration that gives a larger volume a unique identity.
The lightweight concrete Roman furniture may serve as a stool, bench or side table, Or combine several modules with one or two arches on top of each other to create your own unique bookcase.
