Jessica Helgerson Interior design is a nationally recognized, full-service interior design firm located in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to meet our clients’ aesthetic, functional, and economic goals, and to create thoughtful, beautiful interiors that honor and celebrate the buildings that contain them. We do all types of interiors projects, from residential remodels to larger commercial and new construction projects. Past work has included multi-home developments, offices, restaurants, and residences of all sizes. Current work takes us to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, as well as Washington and Oregon. Whatever and wherever the project, we create a network of collaborating professionals who share our vision and support the aesthetic goals of the project. We routinely commission custom furniture and artwork from local talent, and are resourceful in creating fresh, functional, modern environments while respecting the true character of a building. We work as a team. We are a small firm. Our perspective is informed by the individual experiences of our designers, as well as by our ability to work in cohesive and supportive collaboration with one another. We are – each one of us – manager, designer, production staff, coordinator, consultant, and overall task-master. Unhindered by boilerplate concepts or preconceived aesthetic requirements, we bring a fresh perspective to each project. We listen. Among us we have many decades of experience, but with each project we start from scratch, responding in a way that is appropriate to this project, not the last one.
