Concept
Comfortable and lightweight, discreet and stylish, purist and at the same time luxurious: Rolf Benz 651 accomplishes the art of combining all of the essentials of perfect seating. The quilted seat cushion is a true work of art, since despite the soft upholstery, the chair looks wonderfully delicate and is the epitome of perfectly balanced design. The chair – with or without armrest – has been created for enjoyable and stylish companionship and, thanks to its various design options, blends in perfectly with virtually any setting. After all, the feet are available in silver, umbra grey and polished chrome, while the upholstery comes in the “Classic” or “Soft” comfort versions.

Norbert Beck. Founder Norbert Beck, born in 1959, was originally trained as a teacher of art and handicraft before he founded his own design studio in 1988 and started a business as a freelance furniture designer. The Company BECK DESIGN The Germany based design office around the autodidact Norbert Beck combines a high standard of quality and timeless design with southern casualness and elegance. Model making in their own studio is an important element of the working process. Ideas are refined, functions are tested and proportions are checked until meaningful models are formed. From the first sketch of an idea through the entire working and development period, BECK DESIGN, with the support of Silja Beck since 2013, accompanies the products until they are ready for series production. This results in designs that are precisely adapted to the needs of the respective manufacturers.
