Concept
The Nerd Bar Stool is designed with a playfully contemporary expression, joined by its wooden Scandinavian materiality. The seamless integration of its back and seat makes for a characterful detail alongside the curved edges of its seat.

David GECKELER
Germany
David GECKELER (born 1984) grew up near Lake Constance, south Germany. He initiated his design studies at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. Studying abroad at the the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen have added to broadening his horizon. He completed his studies in industrial design at The Berlin University of Arts with his diploma degree in 2012. Later he gained professional experience working for Berlin based Designer Mark Braun, before he founded GECKELER MICHELS Industrial Design in 2013, together with industrial designer Frank Michels.
