Multiball

Concept
Flexible design solution, thought for all these spaces in which light sources’ elasticity is required, in order to eschew to adapt each time the electrical wiring to the new solution. Multiball is a series of infinite aggregable suspensions, opal globes of different diameter fixed to rigid rods on different highs, plugged in each other by a movable white lacked metal junction stirrup. This system of joined singular elements permits to create free compositions with several ceiling light points, adaptable to each space.

In 1994 he graduated from the University of Florence with a degree in architecture. In 1992 he started his career as an industrial designer and worked with several furniture companies. Since his first works, he has received several awards including Young & Design award in 1992 and the Waterly European Award in 1993. Roberto Paoli's focus is on clean lines with a careful attention to detail. He applies his historical research to creating new uses for alternative materials. He combines his design career with his architectural education to create graphic design for museums, public relations and art direction. He has created designer complementary furnishings, upholstery, computer accessories and items in PVC. His works have been published in some of the most widely read design magazines. He lives and works in Milan and Ancona.
