Le nom du produit révèle déjà les formes de ce fauteuil inspiré au Biga des anciens Romains.
Un système d'approche au nouveau projet fait avec courage, imagination et beaucoup de passion.
Dans ses les formes on cache une étude fonctionnelle sur l'acoustique et la privacy que ce fauteuil crée. La philosophie est de créer son propre espace dans l'environnement sans s'en isoler. Avoir votre privacy pour penser, travailler et, pourquoi pas, vous détendre, insérée dans le contexte dans lequel vous vivez. Biga est né avec deux hauteurs où la plus grande se concentre sur la privacy et l'acoustique tandis que l'autre sur l'objet de design. Biga n'est pas statique dans un espace et peut être facilement déplacé en la version avec roulettes. Il est également disponible dans la version avec patins. Biga peut également être équipé d'une tablette pour appareils.

Founded in 1973 as ‘Studio Favaretto’, it has developed, starting from the 80s , a long experience in Italy and abroad, cementing long-term relationships with leading production companies, and together with them it led the whole process of industrialization for most of the projects receiving several awards for the same. Ability in the application of materials, precision design and research for innovation, form and function , always characterized the approach of ‘Favaretto & Partners’. The technical competencies gleaned over decades and the ever-present passion for experimentation have enabled the practice to work successfully and with versatility in different manufacturing sectors, from telephones to furnishings (seating, lighting, upholstered ) to medical and household objects. In particular ‘Favaretto & Partners’ has specialized in the planning, prototyping and production of office furniture, technical seating (task and executive) and collective systems, introducing, in certain cases, design languages embraced by other designers and manufacturers. ‘Favaretto & Partners’ actively supports and adheres to the principles of “Design for All”, a declaration accepted by the European Commission and promoted by the I.I.D.D. (Italian Institute Design Disability today DFA Italia). The declaration encourages disability-proof design practices which aim to make objects and environments accessible and functional to the widest possible range of users. Some of the most important awards received: Recommendation for the Compasso D'oro, Design Index ADI, Good Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, Iconic Awards, Interior Innovation Award, Young Design Award, Grandesign Etico, Biennial of Industrial Design-Ljubljana, Office Design, Institute of Business Designers Award.
