The Akari side tables have delicate yet solid iron frames. Luxurious gold leafing is applied by hand to the tabletop, which is then carefully finished with several layers of varnish. Such varnished surfaces should not be cleaned with sharp objects or abrasive cloths. A soft damp cloth is ideal. Acidic liquids such as red wine or coffee stains should be wiped off immediately.
