Johnny B. Good

Bernhard Dessecker looks back at more than 35 years of professional experience in lighting planning, interior architecture and developing and designing lighting fixtures. He started his career in New York in 1983 and was from 1984 on until 2013 member of the design team and eventually the right hand of Ingo Maurer, one of the internationally most known and famous lighting designer, based in Munich, Germany. He contributed a large number of his own designs to the collection. Aside from this he always kept his own project planning and design office and yet here realised products and projects in Germany and around the world with various collaborators and partners. His latest designs were made for BMW and MOOOI. In the last three years he has focused also on special custom made light objects, which are made of reclaimed materials. He lives and works in Berlin and Boston.
