Pietra Serena flamed

Light bluish-grey sandstone with medium grain and evident parallel orientation to the layer of constituent crystalline granules, accentuated by the micaceous lamellae. Rock without cavities or micro cracks, the interstices are completely occupied by the fine crystalline component and carbonatic concrete. It is predominantly made up of quartz, feldspars, mica and fragments of silicate and carbonatic rocks.
