Meteorite originates from the pursuit of a new sensibility, a new expressive language for blown glass.The starting point was an enthusiasm for so-called Venetian beaten glass with its grinding effect and the charm of the unfinished feel that such a process brings to the surface.The result of this unique glass-blown moulding technique is a double-layer artistic glass diffuser covered with a specially designed frosting to enable an impressively warm yet bright lighting depth.

Concept
Il s’agit d’une famille de lampes qui s’articule en cinq typologies : lampe à poser, lampe de table, lampadaire, applique/plafonnier et suspension.Matériaux : diffuseur en verre souffl é; corps en techno-polymère et acier. La version lampe de table Meteorite 15 prévoit une tige en aluminium chromé tandis que la version 35 prévoit une tige en acier.Spécifi cités : le diffuseur est réalisé en verre artistique avec une double couche, obtenu avec la technique artisanale du souffl age dans un moule fermé et traité avec un abrasif.

Italy
Pio and Tito are brothers, born in 1973 and 1971 in Venice, where they graduated in Architecture in 1998. In 1996 they founded their design studio Pio & Tito Toso. The Studio works on architecture projects in Italy and abroad, and takes parts in numerous contests. In the field of industrial design the Toso brothers boast projects with the most qualified lighting and furniture companies. They also plan and design booths, exhibitions, shops, offices and warehouses for several companies, curating image and identity. The list of awards they received includes Design Plus Award 2016, Red Dot Design Award 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2012 Good Design Award 2009, I.Dot selection 2006–2007, Young & design 2005. They have participated in exhibitions in Europe and the United States.
