La douce chaise Andrea aux formes arrondies a été créée par les architectes suédois Claesson Koivisto Rune. Cette chaise pour salle à manger ou salle de réunion complète à la perfection la famille Palladio. En forme de fleur et extrêmement confortable, elle attire le regard quel que soit l’angle de vue.
« Nous nous sommes efforcés de concevoir un modèle empreint de modernité, aux formes douces et arrondies. La chaise est proportionnée de sorte qu’elle soit à la fois accueillante et confortable », expliquent Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto et Ola Rune. « Outre les qualités sculpturales du modèle, elle se distingue surtout par la forme élégante des pieds qui se dessinent entre les éléments de garnissage. Ceci offre la possibilité de jouer avec les matières et la structure portante. »
Sa géométrie douce et la diversité des tissus et des couleurs de pieds disponibles lui permettent de se fondre dans tous les intérieurs. Andrea est disponible en deux tailles : une version salle à manger/salle de réunion et une variation chaise longue. La chaise est également parfaitement assortie à la table Palladio grâce à ses accoudoirs inclinés qui permettent de la glisser sous la table.
Construction
La chaise Andrea est basée sur une coque garnie, équipée d’accoudoirs inclinés. Elle est proposée en différents tissus. L’élément le plus étonnant de la chaise Andrea vient de ses pieds, qui semblent flotter à l’extérieur de la coque. La chaise Andrea est disponible en version fauteuil ou chaise longue. Les pieds sont proposés en différentes finitions de peinture poudre.
Concept
Chacun a besoin d’un lieu inspirant, qui donne de l’énergie et stimule la productivité. C’est ce sentiment qui a inspiré les architectes suédois Claesson Koivisto Rune à concevoir le programme d’assise Andrea. La forme de la chaise Andrea évoque une fleur en pleine éclosion, aussi agréable à regarder sous tous les angles.
« Pour ce design, nous avons cherché à créer une expression douce, plutôt arrondie, contemporaine », expliquent Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto et Ola Rune. « Les proportions sont pensées pour être accueillantes tout en offrant un confort élevé. Au-delà de l’aspect sculptural, le détail marquant réside dans la façon dont les pieds s’élèvent entre les éléments rembourrés de manière très distincte. Cela permet de jouer avec les associations de tissus et de finitions du piètement. »
La chaise Andrea, pensée pour la salle à manger ou les espaces de réunion, se distingue par ses accoudoirs et son confort remarquable. Andrea est également disponible en version tabouret de bar.

Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architectural partnership, founded in Stockholm, in 1995, by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. Begun as an architectural firm, it is now an internationally acclaimed, multi-disciplinary office with an equal emphasis on both architecture and design. As the first Swedish office to have exhibited in the international section at the Venice Architecture Biennale, in 2004, they are also responsible for a wide range of award-winning projects such as K5 Tokyo, Grand Hotel Terminus, Villa Terminus, Zander K and Bergen Børs hotels in Bergen, Norway, Inde/Jacobs gallery building in Marfa, Texas, Sfera Building culture house in Kyoto, the Tind Prefab house collection for Fiskarhedenvillan, Widlund House private villa on Öland, Örsta Gallery building in Kumla, Nobis Hotel and Hotel Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. Claesson Koivisto Rune has received an array of international awards and recognitions, amongst them ten American Good Design Awards 2009 - 18, the Designpreis Deutschland (Gold and Silver) 2011 by the Federal Republic of Germany, Designer of the Year 2011 and Furniture of the Year 2012 by Elle Deco Sweden, both Designer of the Year and Best Seating 2014 by Elle Decor Italia, and the Red Dot Design Award – Best of the Best 2014, making them the first office to hold the prestigious Red Dot in five different product categories, architecture included. In 2015, they also received the prestigious Bruno Mathsson award, the highest honour in furniture design in Sweden and the Scandinavian region.
