Frankfurt, 11–15 March: ISH – the world's leading fair focused on water and energy – will host over 2,500 international exhibitors addressing responsible resource management and conservation.

Pop up my Bathroom

The special 'Pop up my Bathroom' show at ISH focuses on the future of bathroom design – including the newest shapes and colours – with an experimental perspective. The showroom will present complete bathroom arrangements and exclusive installations and provide a practical overview by displaying photos of bathrooms in the context of social developments, current design trends and technological innovations.

Colourful trends in the bathroom

Following the motto 'Colour trends are what make it fun', the ISH 'Pop up my Bathroom' showroom will be launched with 12 colour trends. In 2019, the bathroom is going to be multicoloured, and thus, more individual. With an ever greater range of materials, textures and, of course, colours, the sanitary industry will provide the building blocks for avant-garde bathroom compositions. The tonal palette here will range from traditional white, elegant greige, and luxurious gold, to natural greens and playful colour mixes.

Adaptive style

Functional in the morning, relaxing in the evening: the bathroom has become an oasis of well-being. In order to meet both lifestyle preferences and individual health needs, bathroom planning that allows for easy adaptation while emphasising style is in high demand. The latest smart showers and bathtubs, shower toilets, ambient lighting and multimedia products for the bathroom underscore the desire for these developments.

A flickering and cosy glow

Even before the first civilizations, people used wood for heating. And yet this fuel source is future-oriented too, even CO2-neutral when reforested sustainably. However, to achieve this one must-have, of course, the right technology. Today, individual fireplaces can be integrated into the intelligent infrastructure of existing or new heating systems with demonstratable added energy value. In addition, regionality, security of supply and making a cosy living space are strong arguments for stoves and the like.

ISH is the world’s leading trade fair and the industry’s international meeting place for the responsible use of water and energy in buildings. The trade fair showcases trends for modern bathroom design, sustainable heating and air-conditioning technology, and intelligent living. 

From 11 to 15 March 2019, more than 2,500 international exhibitors will debut their latest products. This year the trade fair will also reinvent itself in structural and visual terms with a reworked thematic format which will provide a better overview and greater transparency.​
