Going up in the world

A logical response to increasing urban populations is to build upwards. Contemporary high-rise living has managed to transcend (no pun intended) the legacy image of those poorly maintained, system-built concrete towers of the 1960s and 70s with more considered, mixed-occupant developments shooting up around the globe – London chief among these new lofty hotspots. Go tall or go home!
