Not just a pretty face

Let's be honest. We do judge a book by its cover. To a large extent, at least. 

The same goes for architecture. Facades play a major role in shaping our experience of cities as urban landscapes, not only in our perception of their aesthetic expression, but also in how we read their rhetorical pronouncements. Skin speaks.
