Keep it light

In this latest instalment of Product Focus, we continue to look at light, and in particular, at a number of products from kreon, Busch-Jaeger, pvd concept and Oligo, which seek not only to illuminate and enhance, but also dialogue with the individual spaces they inhabit.
 

The key to enlightenment

For lighting specialist kreon, beauty is not found by continually adding elements to a design, but rather by reducing it to its most essential parts. And, with their minimalist, architectural new system Kagi, kreon have done just that.

Kagi – named from the Japanese word for key – is an innovative and versatile linear and accent lighting system which has been designed with architectural space specifically in mind. It serves not simply as an additional decorative element, but as a functional component that dialogues discreetly and meaningfully with the room it illuminates. The linear system can be recessed or surface mounted, and round or square spotlights added simply by clamping them to the main linear profile as desired.

German axcent

With their expansive Busch-axcent®  range of switches, German specialists in electrical installation technology Busch-Jaeger already provided interior designers and specifiers with a broad, colourful range of options for creating individualised touches. Now, with Busch-axcent pur®, they have switched it up a level.

Busch-axcent pur® expands the frame choice even further, offering three new real metal variations – titanium, platinum and matted-black – as wells as slate, concrete and glass versions in a variety of different colours. Busch-axcent pur® also comes in a flat version whereby the switch can be flush-mounted on the wall, allowing even further room for individual expression. And with a number of switch colours options to choose from, including studio white, anthracite and grey metallic, there’s a subtle solution to fit every project.
