Salone time
Pushed back a few months from its ancestral home in April, Salone del Mobile’s 60th-anniversary edition will run from 7 to 12 June 2022, treating visitors to the warmth of a late Italian spring.

The fair itself, meanwhile, will also be turning up the heat, with the sell-out Fiera Milano Rho Fairgrounds squeezing over 2,000 exhibitors into its halls and pavilions, including 600 of the hottest emerging creative talents presented at the youthful Salone Satellite.

Happy birthday Salone del Mobile!
Celebrating the big 60 this year, Salone del Mobile 2022 is back with a bang. Environmentally focused: Mario Cucinella's Salone del Mobile installation
In Mario Cucinella’s large-scale installation ‘Design with Nature’, a 1,400-sqm exhibition space is transformed into a landscape that encourages learning, discussion and reflection on three environmental themes.

In line with Salone del Mobile’s main themes of inclusivity and environmental sustainability, the installation will focus on ecological transition – moving quickly towards circular economies, the home as an urban element – exploring the relationship between nature and how we live, and mining cities – where future raw materials are sourced for urban construction. Read more

Liquid is a unique collaboration between VitrA and Tom Dixon that brings the British designer’s philosophy of expressive minimalism to the bathroom. The collection evokes a sense of permanence with soft and rounded forms in durable white porcelain. Contrast and definition is delivered via a supporting cast of solid taps, showering solutions and iconic accessories. Expressive of function and instinctive in use, the comprehensive collection encompasses enduring ceramic silhouettes and shapely brassware and showers – an integrated system offset by harmonious furniture and a range of wall tiles. Read more 
Take it all in at the DAAily bar
Serving drinks, food and free coffee, Salone del Mobile visitors can take a break from the bustle of the fair by coming down to our DAAily bar at Swiss Corner in the Brera Design District, open from 2pm to 9pm from 7 to 10 June.

The DAAily bar will feature new collections from icons such as Patricia Urquiola and Sebastian Herkner, art installations from Douglas Mandry and Anne Vitchen of Floral Poetry and a Live Talk programme of additional speakers including Barber Osgerby, BIG and Stefano Boeri. Learn more
