The centrepiece of this absolute novelty is the light socket, this provides for flexible lighting designs, be it for your walls or ceilings. By means of magnets, the desired luminaire is simply docked onto the socket, this can be exchanged or swapped as you please, is ready to use, is dimmable and will in future be integrable into standard smart home systems.
As the system developer, Insta paved a new way in lighting design. The concept design comes from the pen of the German lighting designer Tobias Link. With Gira and Jung, Plug & Light already has two strong partners from the field of electrical installations and smart building technology on board. Whether it is for technically applied lighting or just a beautifully arranged and pleasant atmosphere, this ever-growing network of manufacturers and pioneers within the world of lighting, offer a diverse portfolio of matching light fittings and outstanding designs. The Italian manufacturer Axolight, the German companies of Grossmann, Ingo Maurer and Nyta as well as sg from Norway as Plug & Light members offer outstanding light attachments and applications for this innovative system. COR is the first seating furniture manufacturers to integrate Plug & Light into one of its programmes.
