About Mersi

Profile:
MERSI is a multidisciplinary architecture agency, founded in 2019 by Meryl Motyka and Simon Mimoun and based in Saint Germain des Prés in the heart of Paris.
MERSI is a contraction of MERyl and SImon. They are creative duo with two complementary areas of expertise united by a shared passion for Beauty. Proud of their culture, sensitivity and vision, they and their team design functional, timeless, and always unique interiors for private clients, investors, and entrepreneurs.
With great rigour and creativity, the duo offer a unique and tailor-made approach. An artistic and innovative strength that allows the client to envision the potential of the space they are looking at and what it could become. Simon, (co-founder of MERSI) explains: "For each of our projects we combine the discipline of architecture with the creativity of design. A rare use of shapes, materials, and colors, assembled with balance and precision to achieve a certain harmony in a project that has real meaning.
We offer a sublimated transformation of the space, often involving destruction in order to rebuild better."Inspired by great architects such as Tadao Ando, Oscar Niemeyer, Frank Lloyd Wright, and John Pawson, and interior designers like Christophe Delcourt, Liaigre, and the Yodezeen duo, Meryl and Simon aimfor a perfect control of their projects, which they always want to be unique, and especially thought through with every detail especially defined. Meryl, (co-founder) adds: "Our projects are elegant and sophisticated thanks to refined finishes and rarely seen assemblies. The complexity of our proposals isn't immediately obvious, but linked together, they create a refined and timeless atmosphere. We work with a palette of natural materials and colours which we enhance with a bold touch that runs as a consistent thread throughout the entire project.”
MERSI's goal is to imagine spaces, but also to bring them to life. Creators and makers, Meryl and Simon, supported by a network of skilled craftsmen, design projects from A to Z: from the first sketch to the turnkey delivery.
