Profile:
We focus on interior design, reconstruction, residential buildings, civic buildings, and public spaces. We emphasize the sophistication of the design and the unique outcome that arises from the process, collaboration, and context. We approach reconstructions, extensions, and conversions with a thorough consideration of the site history and with the aim of maximizing the use of what has already been built. We are interested in the quality of the environment, its use, and its beauty.
Kateřina Hroncová comes from South Moravia, where her interest in the countryside and unpretentious landscapes as an integral part of architecture originates.
She studied architecture at the newly established Faculty of Architecture at the University of Liberec, where there was a strong emphasis on the quality and concept of studio projects. During her studies, she participated in several competitions and internships, for example, at the Department of Architecture and the Department of Graphics at VSVU in Bratislava.
She gained practical experience in the studio of David Kraus Architecture and in the studio Olgoj Chorchoj. In her work, it is important to her that the result is a well-crafted object that is cohesive from concept to physical detail.
