Founded in 2007 with the will of promoting Italian design through quality and innovation research, Alma Design created an original aesthetic identity and took a considerable space in the international contract business.
In a short time, Alma Design created a strong and high-profile identity, thanks to the talent of the founder and CEO Mrs. Alessandra Marchina: her precious 40-year-experience in the father’s company specialized in the production of steel components for chairs, represented a springboard to the company.
Born in 2007, Alma Design registered a constant growth during these years: when the two daughters join the company, brought a strong innovative push and, new and qualified personal business experiences.
Initially specialised in realising chairs and tables with an innovative and surprising design, Alma Design expanded its range of products to different furniture ideas.
The precious know how, the international cooperation with emerging designers and talented architects and the use of sophisticated production technology are the winning mix of this productive reality, which is also proud of the most recent solutions in respect of environment.
The core business of the company is the contract and Ho.Re.Ca. field, however the care for the residential is equally present. Chairs, tables, coffee tables, sofas and accessories are conceived basing on style and harmony and represent the essence of pure design, intended as union amongst three essential elements: high-quality materials, functionality and aesthetics. The products have informal shapes and have been selected by international buyers in order to furnish hotels, restaurants, cafes and fast foods where the design express itself with recognizable and proportioned shapes which distinguish the location.
