NACSound is the creation of Italian acoustic designer Francesco Pellisari. In 1992 while working as an industrial robot designer, he spent some time with Acoustic Research to follow his passion for acoustics. Once back in Italy he struck out on his own and in 1995 established Acoustic Design and built his first speaker. Over the years he has collaborated with big names such as Ken Ishiwata, Roy Allison and Ron Arad.

By 1997 Acoustic Design had become New Acoustic Concept (NAC), a company dedicated to manufacturing highly individualistic speakers without compromising audio quality. NACSound handmade speakers are now sold worldwide but the company remains small and independent, dedicated to combining exciting design with high-quality sound.
